Brad Meltzer is the number one New York Times best-selling author of The Book of Fate, as well as the best-sellers The Tenth Justice, Dead Even, The First Counsel, The Millionaires, The Zero Game, and The Book of Lies. He is also one of the co-creators of the TV show, Jack & Bobby, and is the number one selling author of the critically acclaimed comic books, Identity Crisis and Justice League of America, for which he won the prestigious Eisner Award. He is the first author to ever reach the number one spot on both the New York Times and the Diamond comic book best-seller lists simultaneously. His latest book, Heroes for My Son (HarperStudio), is a collection of inspiring stories of heroism for parents everywhere.

When Meltzer welcomed his first child into the world, he started keeping a list of heroes whose virtues and talents he wanted his son to share. Heroes for My Son is a collection of 55 extraordinary men and women including: Mr. Rogers, Amelia Earhart, President H. W. Bush, Albert Einstein, Dr. Seuss, Muhammad Ali, and President Barack Obama. Heroes for My Son highlights a diverse set of role models for coming generations to learn from and admire.

Meltzer has spoken in front of groups ranging from one to well over 1,000. Highlights include four different Celebration of Reading events with former President George H. W. Bush; the 100th Anniversary Celebration for the Columbia Law Review, where he shared the podium with Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg; the Levy Home Entertainment Annual Convention, where he shared the podium with Coach Lou Holtz; the California Bar Association Litigation Section annual meeting; fundraisers for the Brandeis Libraries, and the Governor's School for the State of Virginia.

Meltzer played himself as an extra in Woody Allen's Celebrity and earned credit from Columbia Law School for writing his first book, which became The Tenth Justice. He has appeared on the Today Show, The O'Reilly Factor, The Early Show, The Paula Zahn Show, On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, Fox & Friends, Cavuto on Business, and Lou Dobbs Tonight. He has been featured in Vanity Fair, USA Today, People magazine, Time magazine, Entertainment Weekly, New York Times, and the Washington Post.

Meltzer is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Columbia Law School, and lives in Florida with his family.
