Bill Jensen is today’s foremost expert on work complexity and change. He has spent the past decade studying business’ ability to design work, and is an internationally-recognized author and speaker with 25 years of experience in communication and change consulting.
Jensen earned a BFA in Communication Design and an MS in Organizational Development (Career and Human Resource Development) from Rochester Institute of Technology. He has written for such journals as Harvard Business Review, Strategy and Leadership, Knowledge Management Journal, Employee Relations Today, National Productivity, International, Communications, Communication World, and Strategic Communication Management.
His first book, Simplicity, was hailed as a “breakthrough in the design of communication and understanding,” ranked as the number 5 leadership/ management book on Amazon in 2000, and led to one critic hailing Jensen as the ‘knowledge workers’ Studs Terkel.’ His next book, Work 2.0, laid out a vision for empowering corporate workers, and was followed by Simplicity Survival Handbook, a new workbook system for doing less and accomplishing more.
